The comfortable form-fitted table, on which the client rests, has a basin set into it. The equipment is plumbed to the sewer system from the bottom of the basin. It is odorless! Tubing connects the tank with the rectal tube, which is the size of a pencil. The LIBBE colon hydrotherapy device is FDA-registered and approved. The rectal tubes are sterile and are disposed of after use. The Procedure for the Colonic Session: The session is about 45 minutes to an hour. The rectal tube will only insert 2 to 3 inches into the rectum, just past the internal sphincter muscle. Safe, purified, temperature controlled water flows in through the rectal tube and into your colon. When you feel the need to release the rectal tube will move to one side in the rectum and allow the softened feces to flow out, down the drain in the base of the LIBBE directly into the sewer system and odor free. So today was a pretty rough day to be honest. A lot of emotional highs and lows–but mostly lows. We both had it rough. But this is to be expected. The colon is the place where we store old memories and cling to the past. As the body and the mind are really one thing, when the body cleanses the mind cleanses as well and we see all the things we’ve been holding onto. Otis had a big breakthrough during a guided meditation that Jenny did with him that he needs to start dancing again. That feels good. It feels light and pressureless which is a feeling he hasn’t felt as much as he’d like. Jenny had mucoid plaque come out and recognized that the body is real and that it does matter what we put inside of ourselves. Internal cleansing is like showering, but for some reason, our culture hasn’t wanted to touch it with a 10-foot pole. Imagine what it would be like if you hadn’t showered in 10 years. That first shower would make some pretty nasty stuff come off. That’s what’s going on. We are just getting the first layer. Eventually, cleansing will just be a part of our life like showering is.
